Work is the named queues — Why NAK, Relays, stale reservations — not a log dump. History is every remaining lease row, as-of a day, CSV. You do not start with a packet capture, and there is no primary to restart. Four moments from a normal Tuesday, with the screens they actually use.

Helpdesk pastes a suffix — 28:10:01 or Cisco 0028.1001. Search lands on the leases. No Wireshark, no lease-file grep. Neteng is not the lookup API.

Operator adds a DHCP client reservation in the subnet map. That write is the next Offer — no scope to edit, no sheet to sync. Stale reservations show up in Work, not as a mystery NAK.

Overview shows last grant and Work names the queue: Relays, Why NAK, Wrong MAC. No capture first. The network team fixes the relay’s address (giaddr) or a leftover Windows scope — without restarting a primary that does not exist.

Paste the IP, MAC, or hostname. Occupancy is every remaining lease row — who held .55, which NICs this hostname used, where this MAC has been. As-of a day on this computer. CSV. Not Audit, not a ping scan.

One catalog
Windows and ISC keep a plan in one place and leases in another. Lattice has one catalog, so Work can name the failure. Save a reservation; dhcpd offers that row. Names follow the grant into AD or BIND.

Identical dhcpd processes share the lease store. Discover on one node and Ack on another is the same lease. Add a node without splitting scopes.
Ack never waits on a nameserver. A worker writes A/PTR into AD, BIND, or Unbound after the grant. Option 6 stays pointed at the resolver your laptops already use.
What you install
Same tarball for Community and Starter. Beta signup issues a lifetime perpetual Starter license so you can run extra dhcpd and three-node HA. Upload a paid file on that cluster when you pay — no reinstall. Bring scopes over as prefixes, pools, and reservations.
Community and paid
Managed IPs = leased + reserved + quarantined + assigned. A /16 with 200 live addresses is 200. Existing leases keep renewing if you hit the cap.
Create an account and download the software. Signup includes a lifetime perpetual Starter license (5,000 IPs, three-node HA) on the same install you will keep, in exchange for real-world testing and feedback. Paid licenses are not for sale yet; the pricing table is the published list. When purchase opens, a signed file raises the cap. No reinstall.
